AI + Climate Futures in Asia Workshop
‘AI + Climate Futures in Asia’ workshop was an intensive and exciting 2.5-day foresight workshop on AI and climate futures in Asia hosted at the Quicksand/Unbox Cultural Futures Society venue space in Delhi, as part of our project supported by The Rockefeller Foundation.
Organised by DFL’s Research Associate and project lead Dona Mathew and Founding Director Urvashi Aneja, the ‘AI + Climate Futures in Asia’ workshop brought together some of our pan-Asia expert network - hailing from India, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines - and practitioners and researchers from the civil society and startup space in India to deliberate various visions for the future of climate data governance and sustainable agriculture for the continent - and the role AI might play in making those visions a reality.

DFL published two foresight briefs - Counting Climate 2035: The Future of Climate Data Governance in Asia and Smart Farms 2035: The Future of AI and Agriculture in Asia - based on the futures discussed during the workshop.
